WIN is focused on solving two challenging problems:
1) providing affordable internet connectivity to users in emerging markets and 2) providing the unbanked with access to digital financial services
We do this my installing WiFi hotspots in communities through sari-sari stores.
We’ve also developed a digital wallet that allows consumers to purchase internet timed access and other digital products and services such as games, gift certificates and airtime load.
Established in 2015, WiFi Interactive Network Inc, is a recipient of the Microsoft Affordable Access award and the Rice Bowl Newcomer Startup Award.
We are currently present in the Philippines and are looking to expand into other Asian countries in 2019.
Jasen Ko | Chairman and Investor
Jasen is a serial entrepreneur & investor. He is the angel investor who first funded WIN. He is currently involved in various industries from Media, Advertising, Printing & Production, Skin Care and Real Estate.
Jasen is a member of YPO, EO and a mentor for Endeavor. He is a graduate of the Ateneo de Manila University and has completed the Entrepreneurs Masters Program at MIT Sloan and is currently enrolled in Harvard’s OPM Program.
Philip Zulueta | President and Founder
Philip is a seasoned entrepreneur. He is a pioneer in establishing internet-connected computer labs in universities back in 1998 when the internet was relatively new in the Philippines. He also founded, Smart Start Services, a computer-aided learning program for children.
To immerse himself in the tech startup culture, he went on to work for 3 start-ups in Silicon Valley: SeniorSurfers.com Mountain View, CA, OpenAuto.com Walnut Creek, CA and in adtech for Exponential Interactive, Emeryville, CA in various sales positions.
He is a Business Management graduate of the Ateneo de Manila University.
Jayvee Samonte | Head of Product Development
Jayvee is a talented whiz developer who specializes in database development (php). He has architected hospital, POS and HR database projects.
He is a graduate of the Technological Institute of the Philippines with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Information Technology.
Winston Lim | Managing Director. Abenson Group
As Managing Director of Abenson, Winston oversees a nationwide chain of retail stores in the Philippines that carry information technology products, consumer goods, appliances and furniture. The group operates under the retail brands: Abenson , Electroworld, HomePlus and SB Furniture.
Winston is a graduate of the Harvard GM 8 Program and has an eMBA with the Asian Institue of Management.
Miguel Ramos | Chairman. The Aspac Group
Miguel is a seasoned marketing communications executive and entrepreneur who has worked with some of the largest global brands. Miguel is currently Chairman of The Aspac Group, a leading Philippine creative agency, offering strategic and integrated partnerships across media platforms. Aspac is a member company of the Dentsu Aegis Network. In the Philippines, Miguel led the country operations of the Dentsu Aegis Network from start up to its current postion as one of the leading Agency groups in the country.
Miguel is an Economics graduate of the top-ranked University of the Philippines.
Jose Eduardo C. Delgado
Ed is the CEO of Delbros, Inc. a joint venture partner of United Parcel Service in UPS Delbros Philippines. He is also CEO of Delbros Waterfront, the Philippines' largest chassis lessor. A respected member of the business community and seasoned logistics professional, Ed is likewise an accomplished inventor with several patents under his name. He is a member of the prestigious YPO and the Boy Scouts of the Philippines.
Ed graduated with a dual major in Entrepreneurial Management and Computer Science from the Wharton School.
